Last month we put the finishing touches to the Underwraps Lingerie website which is proving to be incredibly successful in selling Designer Lingerie online. The site even started getting orders from throughout Europe before we took it live because I linked the holding page to the inner pages with a hyperlinked full stop. (I was trying to give Google a head start on indexing all the product pages before we took it live)
However, this month our joy and enthusiasm to get to work has depreciated slightly as we are currently working on the latest Biffa website. I mean don't get me wrong we love working for Biffa as they are a great client, good payers :-), and have lots of web work, but the new Transform website which deals with the obligation of manufacturers(and importers) in the disposal of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) just doesn't compare to having to look at pages and pages of slinky models in the latest underwear, swimsuits and nightwear!
Some business anaylists would say we lack a vertical market, but we prefer to think of it as being able to enjoy a wide and varied range of work. Next month it's time to start on B-Loony Promo 2.0 the UK's leading provider of printed promotional giveaways , maybe we should consider approaching the designer lingerie market vertically afterall!
